Coronado

Bounded by 8th St and 14th St, Coronado to Virginia

The Coronado area was developed from the early 1900s to the 1930s to help meet the growing demand for modest, working class homes. Mostly smaller homes, some as small as 700sq ft, there is a great diversity in architecture. Predominantly bungalows with a good mix of English Tudors, Spanish Colonial Revival, Southwest and Transitional Early Ranch homes. Coronado has a wonderful home tour every year in early March.
