Ashland Place

Ashland Place

Bounded by Central Ave. and 3rd St, on Ashland, Vernon and Hoover

Ashland Place’s architecture is dominated by Bungalow and Period Revival styles. It was developed in the 1920’s when visionary leader Dwight B. Heard’s “Los Olivos” subdivision was re-subdivided due to the demand for smaller lots. Now, these moderately priced smaller homes are just steps from light rail and all the midtown restaurants.
